The exhibition “Tesoros de Capuchinos”, exhibited in ArsMálaga Palacio Episcopal, brings together the valuable carvings and paintings of the Baroque period that are preserved in the famous capuchin temple, today the parish church of the Divina Pastora and Santa Teresa de Jesús, after its restoration.
The exhibition has been organized by the Obispado de Málaga and Fundación Málaga, which has sponsored the restoration, documentation and enhancement of the pieces, dated between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. The restorers Francisco Naranjo and Ángeles Mulero have been responsible for the restoration of the pieces.
The exhibition catalogue has been coordinated by José Luis Romero Torres and Jesús Hinojosa Sáez.
