This project launched in 2006 by Cerro del Villar Agreement has been aimed at students of schools in Málaga, between 8 and 12 years. Its purpose has been to make known the Phoenician origins of our city and its impact on our culture and traditions, but in a didactic way, with the participation of 8,500 students. This realization has been promoted by the Agreement of the Phoenician Site Cerro del Villar.

This “Field Notebook” has had the objetive of bringing the site “Cerro del Villar” and the Phoenician Civilization closer to the school population. It consists of texts along with illustrations which, in a didactic and entertaining way, convey to the child what the life of the Phoenician population in Cerro del Villar was like. It also has practical activities to strengthen the contents, as well as cut-out models that will reproduce different characteristic structures of the site of Cerro del Villar, such as the pottery workshop or a house.
