The designer of this initiative is Alberto Martín, who recreates in detail scenes obtained from old photographs of the Loring family. Specifically, this is the first part of a project initiated by Martín on 19th century Málaga, when the Loring family “was one of the most important of its time”. The designer of the exhibition explains that the Barbies are the “common thread” of the show that recreates moments of this wealthy family from the city and their friends at the estate of La Concepción, their summer residence.
