Fundación Málaga, with the objective of helping the affected people of the Haiti earthquake and aware of the constant work that Cáritas does with the most needy, collaborates in July 2010 with this association in the project “Recuperación Temprana en Jacmel”, arrondissement to the south-east of Haiti with more than 130 thousand inhabitants, contributing the amount of 5,102 euros for the supply of seeds to the farmers of the area.

This program, which benefits a thousand families, seeks to guarantee food sovereignty with the acquisition of seeds for planting in family gardens, which after the execution period, contribute to the diet of the families, vegetables that can be used for consumption as well as the sale.
