Carlos Álvarez returns to perform in his native land with a production made halfway between Teatro Comunale de Módena (stage production) and the Cervantes Málaga Theatre itself (musical production).

The story of the Scottish general who is tempted by power through the figure of his wife, Lady Macbeth, is, in the words of Álvarez, «a difficult role» that is linked to guilt and conscience in a work with clear Christian roots.
