Fundación Málaga organises and sponsors the Closing Recital of the 1st European Meeting of Luthiers and Musicians of the City of Málaga, which was held in 2008 at the Teatro Cervantes. In this event a series of pieces by Batch, Brahms, Ysaye and Sarasate were played on violin by the young prodigy Jesús Reina from Málaga and by the Russian pianist Tatiana Goncharova.
